Using HyperworksCFD with ultraFluidX?
Can someone tell me how to "switch modes" in HyperWorks CFD to use ultraFluidX rather than AcuSolve? Whenever I load HyperWorks CFD, I see no options for ultraFluidX or aeroacoustics. The window title always reads Altair HyperWorks 2024.1 - CFD - AcuSolve. I am essentially hoping to find the Virtual Wind Tunnel…

Simulation of Robotic Lawnmower with Altair Tools
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fyHr_F5xWA For engineers developing lawnmowers, it can be very difficult to predict the cut height uniformity of the grass, the effect of blade rotational speeds for the mower blades, and the power required for the mower to work efficiently. Furthermore, the blades of the mower not only cut…

uFX for Helicopter Blade
Good evening, I am wondering if UltraFluidX and Virtual Wind Tunnel will be suitable for helicopter noise analysis? Also, I am reading about it is better to be perform calculation on the GPU, what is I only have access to CPU (about 44 cores). Would it be taking a long time so solve? Thanks, Jerome.

Does ultraFluidX use nvlink?
I'm new to ultraFluidX, and am running it with two identical GPUs, connected via nvlink, but nvidia-smi shows no traffic over the nvlink, the PCIe traffic looks high, and the GPUs aren't maxed out. This suggests to me that PCIe bandwidth is the limiting factor and that nvlink isn't being utilized. Is this expected or am I…
