uFX for Helicopter Blade

Good evening,

I am wondering if UltraFluidX and Virtual Wind Tunnel will be suitable for helicopter noise analysis?

Also, I am reading about it is better to be perform calculation on the GPU, what is I only have access to CPU (about 44 cores). Would it be taking a long time so solve?

    uFx is designed for GPU only (no CPU), and that's why it is so fast. (besides using Lattice-Boltzman formulation).

     

    I believe that if you have only CPUs, HyperWorks CFD is more suitable for your needs in general.
