How to deactivate my Altair Inspire2024.1 license from old machine and activate on a new machin

Hello,
Earlier this year, I downloaded the Student Edition License for Altair Inspire 2024.1 on my old laptop. Recently, I received a new laptop and would like to install Inspire on it. However, I’m unable to deactivate the license on my old laptop since I no longer have access to that device. I attempted to use the same license on the new laptop, but obviouslyit didn’t work. Could you please assist me in deactivating the license on the old laptop and activating it on the new one? I’d greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the product in your machine with the same license key.

I tried to enter the same license key and it still gives me this error. what should i do?

Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down and will not work more than a few times.

You can go to the path in the activation tab and delete the license file in there if the error appears after deactivation.
