Hello, I did the process as stated in the link for the student licenses.
I downloaded and installed the version 2026 hypermesh desktop and the same version of solvers (I also tried the same process with 2025.1 version but the same error occurs). I used the license key that was given to me in the marketplace (which is currently shown to be active and I supposed that should be active for all student bundle items) and used the key by running the almutil_gui and activating the license. It created a .lic file with the key.
I could properly open hypermesh and edit my model, but then, when pressing analyze and using optistruct to solve the case, the solver console gives me this error message (the user name and license key are omitted for safety).
Clearly, I don't have optistruct active in the student license when I use the key and hence, I cannot use the solver. I also opened the .lic file with notepad and saw that indeed there were only these three features.
Is it possible that I am doing something wrong in this process and if not is there any way that I can activate the other applications of the student bundle. Also, if it is not something that can be answered in altair community, could I please be redirected to a contact that could assist me if I give my key and credentials?
I need these permissions for my thesis and will also need access to other student applications like hyperview, motionview, motionsolve, etc. for multibody dynamics.
Thank you!
