Altair EDEM installation
Hello
I am trying to install Altair license on a new PC at the university and I am following the video given in this

I followed the exact steps up to 5:31 on the video but i am not able to open EDEM
Please let me know if i am missing anything. I followed the video exactly as given on the youtube link

I do not see anything I have installed EDEM and it was 100% complete and i put the data file in the environment variable everything is done as per the youtube video but I don't see it installed

Can you please let me know if you have activated a student license using the activation key on any other computer or your personal computer before? Or is this the first time you are trying to activate the license on your university computer?
I don't have any key. This time I am trying to install it on another university computer. Note I still want it to run on the existing computer. If I have to use activation key this time please tell me where can I get it from ?

Hi Shyam,
We have implemented a new process for activating the student license. As you are trying to use a student license on a new computer, you will need to generate an activation key first.
Please log in to your Altair One account using your official university email ID. Then, navigate to the student edition bundle and generate the activation key by clicking on the "Get License" option. You can also refer to the below video for the process.
Since you already have an Altair One account, there's no need to register again. Therefore, please skip the first 5 minutes of the video below and follow the instructions provided thereafter to access the student edition bundle and generate the license activation key.

I have followed the new licensing procedure as given in the youtube video and deleted the dat files and the environment variables and i still get this error
I dont know what to do. it is so hard to even install this stupid software. (I am really sorry for my language. But i am really frustrated with this, its just one simple installation which is causing so much problems)

What happens when you try to open EDEM, do you see an error message?
