Can i install Altair products on a school computer?

I'm unable to use my laptop (charger died), and can only fix it by month end, can i in the mean time install Altair Inspire one of my school's computers so i can work on my project?

    Hi,

    You can install Altair Inspire on your school's computer.

    However, please note that if you had activated the student license using the activation key on your personal laptop, you will first need to deactivate it on your laptop before activating it on your school's computer. Currently, the student license will only work on one machine.

    Let me know whether you activated the student license on your personal laptop using a .dat file or an activation key, so that I can help you further.

    Please note that the process to apply for a student license has changed recently. You no longer need a .dat file, instead you can use the activation code to activate the student license.

    You can now access the student edition bundle and the license activation key directly on the Altair One Marketplace.

    Kindly register on Altair One using your official university email ID here - https://admin.altairone.com/register and follow the steps mentioned on this webpage - https://web.altair.com/altair-student-edition#license-activation to access Inspire on AltairOne Marketplace, which is included in the Student Edition Bundle.
