Hello,
I am using PSIM Professional 2026.1.0.8096 with an Altair Student Edition license.
I am currently experiencing the following issues:
- PSIM opens, but New Schematic and other functions are disabled.
- In Help → About PSIM, the Active Features section is completely empty.
- The Options → License Setup menu is missing, so I cannot configure the license from within PSIM.
- When I try to activate my Student Edition license, I receive:
“This license was already activated using different HostIDs.” - When I try Tools → Deactivate License, I receive:
“Error deactivating license: License not found.”
Could you please reset/deactivate the previous HostID activation for my Student Edition license?
Also, could you please check whether my Student Edition license has the required PSIM entitlement/features?

Altair Student Edition 라이선스로 PSIM Professional 2026.1.0.8096을 사용하려고 하는데 라이선스 관련 문제가 발생하여 문의드립니다.
현재 다음과 같은 문제가 있습니다.
- PSIM은 정상적으로 실행되지만 New Schematic 및 여러 기능이 비활성화되어 있습니다.
Help → About PSIM을 확인하면 Active Features 항목이 비어 있습니다.- PSIM의
Options 메뉴에 License Setup 메뉴 자체가 나타나지 않습니다. - Altair License Utility에서 학생용 라이선스를 활성화하려고 하면 다음 오류가 발생합니다.
“This license was already activated using different HostIDs.” Tools → Deactivate License를 실행하면 다음 오류가 발생합니다.
“Error deactivating license: License not found.”
Student Edition 라이선스는 정상적으로 발급받았으며 유효기간도 남아 있는 상태입니다.
현재 라이선스가 이전 HostID에 연결되어 있는 것으로 보이는데, 기존 HostID의 라이선스 활성화 기록을 초기화(Reset/Deactivate)해 주실 수 있는지 요청드립니다.
또한 PSIM의 Active Features가 비어 있고 License Setup 메뉴도 나타나지 않는 상태이므로, 제 Student Edition 라이선스에 PSIM 사용 권한(PSIM entitlement/features)이 정상적으로 포함되어 있는지도 함께 확인 부탁드립니다.
