Hello Altair Support Team,
I am using PSIM 26.0 Student Edition.
After replacing my motherboard due to a hardware failure, I can no longer activate my PSIM student license. The previous motherboard is completely dead, so I cannot access the old system to deactivate the license manually.
When I try to activate the license in Altair License Utility, I get the following error:
"Error activating license: This license was already activated using different HostIDs."
PSIM also shows the following license error:
Feature: PSIMPowerSupplyFeature
Error Code: 9
[NETWORK] 6200@localhost - (Err: 9) Feature not found
Fatal error during Managed Licensing initialization
Additional information: no mac address matched
I also tried Managed Licensing authorization, but it failed with the following error:
Unable to complete authorization request, authentication failed with: SOAP 1.1 fault SOAP-ENV:Client [no subcode]
"End of file or no input: message transfer interrupted or timed out (5 sec max recv delay) (5 sec max send delay)"
It seems that my student license is still tied to the old HostID/MAC address, and I cannot deactivate it because the old motherboard is no longer usable.
Could you please reset or deactivate the previous HostID activation so I can reactivate my student license on my current machine?
Product: PSIM 26.0 Student Edition
Current HostID: Please refer to the attached HostID tab screenshot.
The previous motherboard is completely dead, so I cannot retrieve the old HostID.
Thank you.
