Urgent: PSIM License Activation Error - HostID Conflict (Deadline: Wednesday)

Hi,

I am a student at Ariel University, and I need urgent help with my PSIM Student Edition license. I have an academic project submission deadline this Wednesday (Jan 28th).

The Issue:Out of nowhere, the software stopped working and started displaying Error 15 and Error -40. I did not delete or change any license files; these errors simply appeared suddenly.

Current Status:When I try to reactivate the software using my key, I receive the following error in the License Utility: "This license was already activated using different HostIDs". My Altair One portal shows "0 Activations Left".

Additionally, when I tried to manually download and place the license file, I received Error Code 9 (Feature not found).

Context:I previously contacted Altair Support via email, and I was directed here by Ankita Vishwakarma to resolve this.

I have my Activation Key ready to provide privately to a moderator. Could you please reset my activation count so I can reactivate PSIM and finish my project by Wednesday?

Hi @DVIR

Your license key has been deactivated in Altair One, and you can now reactivate your student license using the same key.

Kindly note, The Altair Free Student Edition license is valid for use on only one device, it cannot be shared or activated on multiple machines at the same time AND Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.

You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –
