License Deactivation Request - Old Hard Drives Corrupted
Hello,
About a month ago I activated an Altair Student Edition license, specifically to use the software FlightStream. Everything was fine until 2 weeks ago my hard drives failed and the data is now lost permanently. I have replaced my old hard drives and have tried to go through the same installation steps but I cannot use my original license because it was activated on the "old machine", and I obviously cannot deactivate the license on the corrupted drives. Any assistance in deactivating the license so I could activate it on my new hard drives would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

HI
Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.
Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down and is only allowed a few times per user.
You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –
