Where does a DOE pick up the data from when generating reports ?

Hello,

I've created a DOE, ran it on the local server but I've ran into an issue when generating the reports. I've used Design Explorer to generate the DOE, exported the files and ran them on the server and now I'm using HyperStudy to generate the report from this DOE.

I've generated a report on a previous study that I've ran with Design Explorer, so I know that this function works fine for my purposes. However, when I ask Hyperstudy to generate the report on my remotely ran study I get UNINITIALIZED on all my variables. I'm guessing that I need to do an extra step to generate some files somewhere, as this report generation worked fine when I processed the DOE that was run locally.

Any idea on what files I need to generate to get the variables populated, if that can be done remotely? If there is no script in place then I will create something to extract the data from my results, but I'd rather use something that's already implemented.

Thanks,

Chris

    Hi @ChrisV,

Since, we would have to look at the setup or a snapshot of the DV's with 'Unitialized' error, it is recommended to submit a query using Altair One.

Using that approach, we will be able to suggest better on the HyperStudy query.

    Many thanks.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @ChrisV,

you could also try to use Synera for DoE and automatic reporting. It is a low-code software to automate HyperMesh or OptiStruct e.g. for automating the pre-processing, connecting the FE setup to other native CAD tools and performing a DoE that can change FE- and the CAD design parameters and automatic report generation.

The software is part of the Altair Partner Alliance, so you can easily download it and give it a try: https://altair.com/synera

Here you can find some examples and see how it works:
