Overview:
The LandingGear model can be used to demonstrate:
- OptiStruct flexible bodies in MotionSolve
- Flexible translational joint in MotionSolve
- Linear analysis, FRFs and CPSDs in MotionSolve
- Hydraulics actuation in TwinActivate
- MotionSolve cosimulation in TwinActivate
- TwinActivate hydraulics actuation in MotionSolve
- Tire Python subroutine extension in MotionSolve
- Durability road event in MotionSolve
- Drop test simulation in MotionSolve
- MD DigitalTwin Driver for LandingGear
WARNING : example capabilities documentation is still work-in-progress:
Pre-Requisite:
MD_Tools for Compose extension must be installed.
Usage/Installation Instructions:
Download/unpack attached files:
and save it as new "MD_Plugin/Mdt4Compose/Demos/Mdt4Compose/LandingGear" subfolder on top of existing MD_Plugin installation.
Initialize "LandingGear" example files:
- Open "MD_Plugin/Mdt4Compose/Demos/Mdt4Compose/LandingGear" folder.
- Define new Windows desktop shortcut to local "__GO.omd" Compose distributable.
- Rename new Windows shortcut as "LandingGear" and double-pick it.
- Wait for related OptiStruct and MotionSolve jobs to complete…
- Review the new content of local "_9_Results" subfolder.
Leverage dedicated DigitalTwin Driver GUI:
- Double-pick "LandingGear" Windows shortcut.
- Wait for dedicated GUI to be fully available (a few seconds to scan model file and rebuild related plots).
- Hit F2 key to open dedicated PDF on-line help document describing main capabilities (to be updated later).
- Review "Model simulation" tabs to understand the content and scope.
- Leverage "Model simulation - Select action : MotionView model" to explain flexible mechanism.
- MotionView model configuration is fully driven by "Model - param - Analysis mode" dataset member
- Leverage "Model simulation - Select action : HyperMesh model" to explain flexible components.
- Leverage "Model simulation - Select action : TwinActivate model" to explain hydraulics actuation.
