Axis Assigment

I plot the first curve based on two curves from another window. When I try to add a second curve based on values, then a separate X and Y Axis comes up with a different min and max. value of the axis. Now the problem is when I try to assign the right X and Y axis to the curve, it is not working, the curve is still in the previous X2 and Y2 axis. This problem I have in release V2021.2 and also in V2022.1

    Hi Alex,

    better late than never:

    my guess is you have units assigned to some of the curves. Each unit needs a separate axis. You cannot assign curves with different units to the same axis, so I guess this is the most likely reason. You can check the units of a curve by right click on curve >> Edit Units

    So you need to manage the different axes scalings accordingly, or turn off unit scaling completely:
    Preferences >> HyperGraph >> Data >> Unit Scaling
