Turbulence velocity scale
Hi,
I need to use stagnation pressure as an input. I have 2 outlets with known mass flow rates (I used for both an advanced boundary condition with EBC pressure (equal to 0, because the outlet "drains" to the environment) and with SIC mass flow rate), 1 inlet with known mass flow rate and the last one which is a suction with mass flow rate not known a priori. For this last inlet I used a stagnation pressure (which I set to 0 because it takes from a reservoir whose pressure is the same as the ambient pressure and where the fluid is static), in the turbulence input data I left the default data (or do I have to make some assumption for this data as well? ) but I need to enter a value for the turbolence velocity scale, for this input data is it correct to enter the value of the assumed inlet velocity (calculated from an assumption of the mass flow rate from the mass balance of the system and the area of the inlet) or do I need to use some percentage of this velocity or other values?
Thanks in advance

My guess is that the approach based on estimated velocity would be realistic.1
