Overview
Generate equivalent dynamic stiffness curves during post processing of point mobility analyses. The curves are based on the curve y=log(4*x^2/k) where x is frequency, y is measured result (displacement , velocity, acceleration) and k is the dynamic stiffness value. This default curve can be modified in the StdCurve.hml file to meet and of your requirements.
Usage/Installation Instructions
- Download attached files and unzip on your local machine.
- Open up a HyperWorks session and go to File>Load>Preference files.
- Click Register and browse to the location of the files.
- Point to the DynamicStiffnessMacros.mvw file and click Load.
- In HyperGraph under the macro panel (icon is a red and blue line with fx next to them) there should be a macro called Dynamic Equivalent Stiffness. To generate the curve put a lower bound in the first box, an upper bound in the second box, and select the curve of interest in the third box.
