The calculation process for the residual ratio and solution ratio

Hi, experts.

What process is used by the system to calculate "Residual ratio" and "Solution ratio" listed on the web page below?

If the model is three-dimensional, the residual ratio and solution ratio are calculated not for certain points or faces, but for all nodes (or meshes?) on the geometry, I guess. Is my understanding correct?

Also, are preprocessing such as normalization performed during the calculation of residual ratio and solution ratio?

Are there any HyperWorks documents that provide detailed information on the calculation process and formulas about residual ratio and solution ratio?
