Body force and turbulence
Hi guys,
I found this description about user defined body force in acusolve documentation.
I want to activate turbulence equation (like k-e) for my problem. I found in the literature that when using momentum source (along with original NS equation), we also need to modify turbulence equation as:
Is it possible to modify standard k-epsilon model equation as above in acusolve using UDF? I am able to modify the original NS equation and add body force term as mentioned in the acusolve documentation.
I want to specify custom source terms for the different types of solved transport equations. Is it possible to add body force term for k and epsilon equations in acusolve using UDF?
I know we can define turbulent viscosity using UDF in Ansys fluent and modify transport equations for SA, k-E and k-w turbulence models. It does the same as I mentioned earlier. Is this doable in acusolve or hyperworks cfd?
Thanks!

Currently there is no support of UDF source terms for the turbulence equations.
Can you attach the literature citation(s) for the turbulence modifications you show above? Do they mention particular applications where this might apply?

The three articles refer to topology optimization. Can you describe (with images, maybe) what you are wanting to do? Are you looking for topology optimization? Or something else?
We are currently doing a lot of work with topology optimization. This is a tutorial published for version 2022.1 - even though it's still a work in progress.
