Licence error for free student edition

My request was approved for the free student edition for Altair. However, after downloading the software I need, none of it will work because my licence will not activate. I have tried all the recommended troubleshooting suggested by Altair. I think there is a possibility that I made a typo on the ethernet host ID when I sent my request. I have now sent another request with the altered ID. Will this request be approved? And/or is there something else I may be doing wrong when trying to activate the licence? Thank you in advance.
