About master and slave SLIDE contact

hello everyone

I am performing Slide contact between the pin and plate forming the revolute joint. in radioss

initially i have performed analysis with pin as MASTER and that plate with SLAVE found ans with stresses at about 200mpa

then i changed the combination with pin as SLAVE and plate as MASTER now i am getting results about 10mpa

so why is this drastic differenece????????????

which one is correct??????????/

Hi Sagar,

In Type 7 contact interface, what is the stiffness formulation you have used?

Few contact stiffness modelling types uses master and slave stiffness.
