Hello everybody, i have an issue with a static linear analysis with contacts. i applied PARAM - FASTCONT in order to linearize contacts but when i start the analysis (in optistruct) the solver gives message:

*** See next message about line 42 from file:
     C:/Users/Matteo/Desktop/P.A.C/Progetto/analisi test/13 AS conf alta.fem
  'CONTACT        2   SLIDE                                    AUTO0.0'

 *** ERROR # 1000 *** in the input data:
Incorrect data in field # 4.

does anyone knows how i could fix it? the contact is formed by a wheel that slides on a plane surface.

Thank you

Please check whether the material property is assigned to the component or not.

Hello,  I have a model with linearization contact with a card 'FASTCONT' with type contact 'stick'. I also have to do a normal mode analysis. Is it possible to do with this settings ? I try to do in this way but i get only 7 rigid displacement but i 'need' 8 because i have a cart with two wheels pivoting. Can someone help me ?
    thanks
