Error ID 197 Reference direction composites

Hi Raphael,

Do you have /PROP/TYPE9 (Orthotropic Shell Property) in your model?.

If so, edit (Right click on Blank property and select card edit)  the blank property /PROP/SH_ORTH card and specify dummy values for Vx, Vy and Vz as shown below and try running the same.

Hi Georges, 

No I only have a P17_STACK property in my model. I've got 8 plies, 1 associated laminate then a stack property.

I tried running with those values assigned to the reference vector, but I still not working.

Do you have any other idea ?

when assigning material orientation, make sure the direction is not perpendicular to shell elements, whose IDs are reported with the error.
