Exporting files from Altair flux motor to Altair PEEC or Other

Hello I am currently designing in Altair Flux motor now I want to export a CAD model of it which I know is not directly possible, I came across FLUX 3D and PEEC I want to know how can I export my files to it and get a resultant CAD model (.dae file or .urdf files or other standard CAD files). Or is there any other tool that I can use to do that

Thanks for writing to us.
You can export FluxMotor to Flux 2D, Flux 3D, and Flux skew. Export in Flux PEEC wouldn't be possible

For instance if you want to export PMSM machine to flux 2D refer Model for Flux 2D.

ok so I cannot export it to Flux PEEC then can i export it as a CAD file so that I can open it in any cad sim

Hello Divyanashu,

Flux PEEC is a 3D modeling module dedicated to electrical interconnections of power electronics devices. It also provides RLC extraction and generation of SPICE-like equivalent circuits. FluxMotor is tool that help you designing the generator or Motor . I am not clear about your request of entering into PEEC from FluxMotor. Both tools are used for different applications. You export model into 2D Or 3D Flux application, you will find options to export geometry there.

ok nvm forget the PEEC part i made a mistake understanding it. My main question is can I export the 3D motor file to a 3D modelling or CAD softwares??

Hello Divyanshu,

Yes, you can do it. The workflow will be FluxMotor > Export- Flux 3D> Export geometry.
Once the motor is exported in Flux 3D, you can find export button from project menu, or enter into geometry>modeler context>project> CAD export .
