Change back to old opti format in HyperMesh 2022.3
Hello. I want to run a frequency response analysis on HyperMesh 2022.3. Additionally I want to create a .disp file. The release notes of 2022.1 indicate that there is a new opti format, which can be used but the old one should still be default. However I just get an empty .disp file, but also with the new layout. When I run the analysis on the 2022 version, everything works fine. Does anyone know how I can change it back to the old format?

Maybe you can try Param,opti,old and see if it works?
I also saw this, but I do not know where I can make this input. If I create a PARAM control card, there is no opti option. I also do not find any toggle for old or new. Do you know where I can make this input?
Got it. I needed to define a new unsupported PARAM. First Value is "OPTI" and second Value is "OLD".

Great to hear, Daniel. Definitely unsupported cards / params is a good trick to have in the bag. But also, consider that you can always edit your *.fem file with a text editor and run it in OS later. (or import it back to HM)
