Installation of Altair Inspire 2025
Hello everyone,
I need to install the new 2025 version of Altair Inspire on my pc. I already have the 2024 version with an academic license.
Since my pc is partitioned in C and D, and C is almost full, I installed Inspire 2024 in a dedicated folder D/Altair back in October 2024. Now, I would like to install the 2025 version also in D. For this reason I would create a dedicated folder as D/Altair2025 which differs from the already present one. But there are two other folders respectively in C/users/me/.altair and C/users/me/Documents/Altair. What should I do? I would prefer not to unistall the 2024 version.

Thank you Adriano, so when installing I can just choose a custom installation destination folder and asset folder and ignore the .altair one? which in fact never appears in the installation phase

these are additional resources for inspire. I believe you're able to choose some of them, where to install.
I believe there's no problem having both installed. I use the full license, and I have no conflict, at least, by having both installed.
