Performance of DBSCAN
Muhammed_Fatih_
Dear Community,
which alternatives do we have with regard to the performance validation of DBSCAN Clustering in RapidMiner? I saw that centroid based performance operators don't work for DBSCAN as expected. But which alternatives exist in RapidMiner?
Thank you in advance for your answers!
Best regards!

Hi
@Muhammed_Fatih_
,
Have you tried the
Cluster Density Performance
operator ?
Look at the process in attached file to understand what I mean...

Hi
@lionelderkrikor
,
thank you for your answer!
I wanted to try the operator but I've read in the operator description (
https://docs.rapidminer.com/latest/studio/operators/validation/performance/segmentation/cluster_density_performance.html
) that "This operator is used for performance evaluation of the centroid based clustering methods."This confused me a bit.
Due to the reason that DBSCAN represents a Clustering method of the density-based approach, I don't really know if this performance operator fits or not?
Best regards!
