Github extension possible?
hi,
Is there any way to use github as an online repository for its folders and experiments?
I dont wanna be rude, but we live in a time where online access is prevalent and its just very hard to work with rapidminer if I have to synchronise by import / export every single process from my workplace to my home-PC by hand to continue to work and compare my experiments...
Cloud is nice, but it's limited to 20mb...

ok but I guess configuring Network access (LAN) from outside is too complex for my networking skills... I mean I cannot get access from my private home subnetwork over my router to their router and their subnet private LAN PC... without some extra server connecting those PC's together? or is there some simple way to do this?
well, might be some solution...
but if you are a student who is not likely to spend 79 bucks per month on a cloud subscription...something like a github extension would just be a charm
you could even do version controlling for it. It would work like a github extension for Eclipse, e.g. you upload the current xml process into some github repository, another one can import the same xml process into his design window from github, and then upload some changed version of his process to github and so on...
I'm pretty sure that would be quite nice and possible, but I guess the only problem would be that it counteracts your cloud business model and would make it obsolete in some way, am I right ?
Dear Fred,
that's why we have the RM Server to be usable as a collaboration tier.
