Altair EDEM License error

Respected sir

Unable to solve for models in AOC 2021 due to licensing error for EDEM.

Please guide me

    Hi Dhathresh,

     

    It looks like EDEM is looking for the license file on your system but the environment variable is probably is not set to find the license.

    1. To do this open your start menu and type "env var".
    2. Then in the menu that pops up select "environment variables".
    3. In the top half of that new menu select new and add the variable.  

    Variable name: Altair_license_path 

    Value: C:\Program Files\Altair\2021\security\altair_lic.dat

     

    This should solve your issue and get EDEM running for you.
