Need to close the gap between two solid mesh

Hi,

I have problem with my assembly,Since this is the first time im using this tool.I feel bit hard to find the options.

My problem is I need to close a gap between two components which is the 3Dmesh.

Can any one pls suggest me the solution

Hi,

if the contact face is cylindrical or planar, I recommend to use Assembly|Align to project the nodes of one body on the other.

 

 

If the interface is whether cylindrical nor planar, you can use:

- Feature|Morph|Translate to move the face in the desired direction

- use FEM/Move Node to offset a face to close a gap.
