Hello Altair Support Team,
I am currently using HyperWorks 2025.1 with a free Student Edition license obtained through my university email address. My license was renewed on September 4, 2026, and is valid until September 4, 2027.
I am experiencing two issues:
1. Software Downloads tab missing
When accessing Altair One Marketplace, I can see the Student Edition Bundle and its available applications, including HyperMesh and OptiStruct. However, the "Software Downloads" tab is missing for every application. Only "Info" and "Try and Buy" are displayed.
I would like to download and install the latest available Student Edition, but I cannot access the installers.
2. OptiStruct license error
I can successfully execute linear static and normal modes analyses in OptiStruct 2025.1. However, when attempting to run a Modal Frequency Response analysis, the solver stops with the following errors:
- Feature not found: HWOptiStruct / OptiStruct
- Requested CT/TTF license not found for given customer ID
- No Available License
Both the successful analyses and the failed frequency response analysis were executed using Altair Compute Console.
I have already verified that my Student Edition license is active and that the environment variable ALM_HHWU is set to F.
Could you please help me verify my Student Edition download permissions and determine why OptiStruct cannot obtain the required license for the frequency response analysis?
