PSIM Student Edition License Issue – Request for License Reset/Reissue

Hello Altair Support,

I am still experiencing a license issue with PSIM Student Edition.

In the Altair License Utility, when I select “User” as the License Store under the Activation tab, I receive the following error:

“Error: Unable to access license store”

I have already tried the troubleshooting methods suggested in the previous discussions, including configuring the license environment and activating the license using the System license store. Unfortunately, the PSIM license issue still persists.

PSIM can be launched, but I am still unable to use it properly, including creating a new schematic.

At this point, I would like to start over with a completely clean license activation.

Could you please reset/deactivate my current Student Edition license activation and reissue or regenerate the license for my account?

I would also appreciate it if you could verify that the newly issued Student Edition license includes the required PSIM 2026.1 features/entitlements.

I have attached a screenshot showing the “Unable to access license store” error in the Altair License Utility.

Do you have full read and write permissions in the license store location? You can try running as administrator and make sure you have admin permissions so license is created in the license store.
