Can you deactivate my previous HostID so I can activate my PSIM Student license on my new computer

Hello Altair Support Team,

I am using the PSIM Student Edition and I recently changed to another computer.

I am trying to activate my student license on my new computer, but I receive the following error message:

“This license was already activated using different HostIDs.”

My student license is currently still activated on my previous computer. I would like to request that the previous activation/HostID be deactivated or reset so that I can activate the same student license on my new computer.

I understand that the Student Edition license can only be used on one device at a time. I am simply transferring my license from my previous computer to my new computer.

Could you please deactivate the previous HostID activation from your side so I can reactivate the license on my new computer using the same activation key?

I can provide my Activation Key and any additional information you require privately.

Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.

Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.

You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –
