Hello everyone,
I am trying to run an Equivalent Static Load (ESL) topology optimization (.radopt) for a crash problem involving a rigid column impacting a constrained beam.
When I export the model using HyperMesh 2026.1 and run it in OptiStruct 2026.1, the analysis fails immediately with the following error:
*** ERROR # 4202 ***Can not find /GRPART # 1 as defined on:/DTPL card # 1 ("grpart_ID" field).
However, the base .rad file runs perfectly fine in the Radioss solver.
The interesting part is that when I use an older version (HyperMesh 2021.2) to set up and export the exact same .radopt optimization problem, OptiStruct runs it successfully without any errors.
My Questions:
- Why does the
.radopt file exported from HM 2026.1 fail in OptiStruct, while the 2021.2 export works flawlessly? - How can I resolve this issue?
