PSIM 2026 Student Edition – PSIM features missing from license file

Hello,

I installed Altair PSIM 2026 and activated my Altair Student Edition license.

The activation appears successfully in Altair One, and the license is valid until September 2027.

However:

* PSIM opens, but I cannot create a New Schematic.
* After a while, PSIM displays:

“Connection to the license server is lost. The application will shut down.”
* ALM_HHWU is set to F.
* ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH correctly points to the activated .lic file.
* I also downloaded the license file directly from Altair One → On Prem → Licenses.
* The newly downloaded .lic file contains no PSIM-related feature or even the string “PSIM”.

Could you please check whether the correct PSIM Student Edition entitlement/features are assigned to my account/license and reissue or correct the license if necessary?

I found one more detail that may be relevant.

In Altair One, my Altair Student Edition license shows Version 2022.0, even though I am using PSIM 2026.1 downloaded directly from the current Student Edition Bundle.

I also downloaded the .lic file directly from Altair One and checked its contents. There are no PSIM-related license features in the file.

According to the Altair licensing documentation, PSIM license features such as PSIMMotorDrive and PSIMPowerSupply were introduced in Altair 2022.1.

Could my Student Edition 2022.0 entitlement be an old license that does not include PSIM?

Could you please check my account and update/reissue my Student Edition license to the current version that supports PSIM 2026.1?
