Student License unable to access license store

Question

I am writing to request help with activating my PSIM Student Edition license.

​When I attempt to enter my Activation Key in the Altair License Utility, I encounter an "Error: Unable to access license store" message under the License Store dropdown, and the "Activate" button remains grayed out. I have attached a screenshot

showing the exact error.

​Please note that I have not changed my device, hardware, or network adapter. I have already tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the software, as well as running the application as an administrator, but the issue persists.

​Could you please advise on a solution or manual workaround?

Do you have full read and write permissions in the license store location? You can try running as administrator and make sure you have admin permissions so license is created in the license store.
