PSIM startup error for student license

Hello,

I am having sporadic issues related to the student license for PSIM and was wondering if others have experienced this as well. At times, PSIM will throw a startup licensing error such as the below that suggests that PSIM has attempted to request a feature that is not included in the student license.

I have had similar license failure issues for PSIM_Power_Supply and PSIM_Motor_Drive at times. These errors do not always occur, but I was wondering if there is a documented reason for their sporadic occurrence. Thank you in advance for any help.

Kindly navigate to System (C:) > Program Files > Altair > 2023 > security > bin > win64 > gui. Locate and double-click on almutil_gui.exe. Click on almutil_gui.exe to open the Altair License Utility box and copy the license path highlighted in the image below.

Now open PSIM and paste the copied license path in the license setup window as shown below and click OK:
