Activation Key Reset Request - Altair Student Edition

Question

Hello Altair Support Team,

I am using the Altair Student Edition and I am currently getting an error when trying to start RapidMiner / AI Studio (Error Code 9: Feature not found).

I run Windows inside a Virtual Machine (Winboat). It appears the virtual hardware ID / MAC address changed recently, which invalidated my local license file. When I check my Altair One Portal, it shows "Activation Left: 0".

I cannot deactivate the license myself because the previous virtual machine environment is no longer accessible.

Following the instructions in this Reference Post, I am requesting a manual reset of my activation count / deactivate the license:

@ItsFake Your license key has been deactivated in Altair One, and you can now reactivate your student license using the same key.

Kindly note, The Altair Free Student Edition license is valid for use on only one device, it cannot be shared or activated on multiple machines at the same time AND Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.

You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –
