Hi everyone, I’m running into an activation limit problem and I’m hoping someone can point me to the right solution.
I had a software license activated on my own computer. At the time, my PC was temporarily not working, so I moved the license to a friend’s computer so I could keep using the software. Later, once my original computer was back to normal, I tried to re-activate the license on my original machine.
However, I’m now unable to re-activate it because it seems I’ve reached the maximum number of allowed activations (or re-activations) I didn't know that and I only did it one time. The license is currently not working on my computer, and I need the software for university.
Is there any way to reset or free up an activation slot? For example, can I deactivate the license properly from the old machine/account, or is there a “release/return” option in the license management page? If a reset is not possible on my side, what would be the best way to contact support to have the activation limit increased or cleared?
If anyone has experience with this specific activation-limit behavior (especially when moving between different computers), I would really appreciate guidance on the correct steps to take.
