I am a BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering student conducting research on the structural robustness of existing buildings through roof-level retrofitting. Using S-FRAME, my work focuses on modelling a roof-level retrofit beam, its anchorage to the 1st and 2nd floors, and the simulation of a ground-floor column removal scenario. While I am able to successfully remove the ground-floor column, I am currently unable to model the roof-level retrofit beam and its anchorage to the lower floors. I would appreciate your guidance and support on this aspect. The relevant research papers and supporting documents are attached for reference.
