Instead of running the CFD simulation using Simlab GUI, can i instead run it using Altair compute console? if i can, how to generate the Acusolve .inp file?

I'm not sure what is available / not available on the full version VS student version - can you clarify?
It's possible the student version is limited to run only within SimLab. You could try launching/running within SimLab - as this will also export the input file and mesh directory (SIMLAB.DIR typically) to the Solution Folder. (I typically set the Solutions Folder to the Database Directory - Right-click 'Solutions' from the solution browser to set Solutions Folder.) Then you can try stopping the run started from SimLab - and try from Compute Console - pointing to that input file in the Solutions folder - or sub-folders.
To run outside of SimLab, you'll also need to install the CFD Solvers package.
Its available on the full version (my Uni pc) but not on the student version (my personal laptop).
