Why is Altair AI Studio Academic MacOS 30 days only?

Why is Altair AI Studio Academic MacOS 30 days only? Is windows limited to 30 days as well? This is a big problem for me since my final exam requires the tool which is a few days after the license expires. I do not have access to support...
