How to read simulation properties (inputs) of LSDyna simulation for PhysicsAI dataset creation.

I have .k and d3plot files of LS dyna. How to read simulation properties (inputs) of LSDyna simulation for PhysicsAI dataset creation. So that during prediction by ML model, labels can be used.

Tried option of reading of .k file and d3plot and exporting into .h3d format. Used Extract Simulation properties" option. Not working.

    Hi @PBalasankar,

PhysicsAI 2025.0 version can read 'thickness' & 'material ID' as inputs from certain solver types such as OptiStruct, RADIOSS, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA etc.

To use supported entities (thickness & material ID), place the solver decks next to the simulation result files when creating a dataset & ensure “Extract simulation properties” is enabled. The entities (e.g. “thicknesses”) will then be available to select as an input during training.

For adding thickness as an input, make sure that the the thicknesses are assigned to properties as thickness assigned directly to elements are not supported.

    Many thanks.

    Kind Regards
