Bending Stress Z1/Z2 (top/bottom) in Hyperview evaluated at surface or Gauß point?

Hi all,
in case I run an implicit simulation, I guess I cannot do changes on the number of Gauß Lobatto points through thickness of a shell? At least in manual it seems to be adjustable only for explicit simulations.
My question is, since the Gauß points are never placed directly on the surface of the shell, will hyperview do an extrapolation of the stresses automatically to derive the real surface stress for bending problems?
And if this is true for the MAX of layers, is it also the case for Z1/Z2 values (e.g. Segalman Von MIses at random vibration)?
Thanks in advance
Joshua

Hi Joshua,
For PSHELL properties, you can define the number of Gauss points in ****, the default value is 3. On HyperView, in the default output for Element Stress (2D&3D), you can select the Max or Z1/Z2 layers, but for bending stress this would be the maximum value.
Please, refer to Altair Document for Elements table 1 to see the through-thickness integration for each type of shell elements and different analysis types:
