License valid but inactive

Hi, I have downloaded the rapid miner few days ago. However, when I start to run it and the result cannot be performed due to the license issue. I have copied the license key and paste it in the "enter license" column but the system showed that the license is "valid but inactive, it will be active in future". How can I do?

Please check the clock and the time zone on your computer.

Hi,

A license is generated at a certain point in time, based on the clock settings of our servers (which should be synchronized with an internet-based time service). It even has some built-in "backdating", however if you already downloaded it a couple of days ago and it still claims to start in the future, then the date settings of your computer are vastly out of synch with reality.

In other words, your computer thinks it is living in the past

Once you correct the date settings, it will work.
