regarding community version and educational license

I am set to introduce RapidMiner to my colleagues at my university. I am planning on using it in my data science class as well. What limitations should I explain to my colleagues? And how can they receive an educational license? (I am not sure if I have one myself but I think I do). Also, what are the limitations of the community version?
