Is there any way to connect to the patents data? (for text mining in patents data)

    Patent data can be found in text format from the USPTO patent database, but you need to manually download required patents as there are many. You can also access global patents from Google patents (patents.google.com). I dont see anything present in RM samples. Here is a blog on how patent data is accessed (Jan-Dec 2017).

    @sgenzer, something like data files in community samples or cloud repository; but it contains patents info!

    I have no idea how to access patent data. If you can obtain a data set, we can go from there.
