Error code 1

When I tried to open Rapid Miner, it showed Error Code 1. It is related to Java Error. May I know is there any methods to solve it?

error code 1 is generally a failure without anything more. Can you check your launcher.log in $USER/.RapidMiner/ . This should provide more information.

Hi,

I am not 100% sure but I think I had this error before when I accidentally installed a 32 bit version of RapidMiner on a 64 bit system (or the other way round). Please make sure that you install the correct version of RapidMiner matching both your hardware and operating system.

Hi @Rj_Chin ,

I faced this earlier as I installed different version of RM on my 64 bit machine. Also check your JDK, if possible try to reinstall both RM(32 or 64 based on your system) and JDK.

I am not sure if this is RM specific error cause I saw it with other softwares that run on java as well.
