Velocity-Pressure Coupling
Hello,
I'm working on my thesis and using SimLab to obtain some Fluid solutions for a centrifugal blower. That said, as I need to describe which pressure-velocity coupling is being considered on the solution of Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes equations, I want to know: which is used in SimLab/AcuSolve for a Fluid Solution ? (SIMPLE, PIMPLE or PISO)
(By the way, I didn't find this info on the Learning Center or Help so I would be pleased on getting that)
Thanks in advance!

AcuSolve is based on Galerkin Least Squares (GLS) finite element method. The SIMPLE algorithm has been mainly intended for finite volume discretization technique. Hence, in my opinion, acuSolve is not using SIMPLE or PISO algorithm. For more information about acuSolve, you can browse through acuSolve training manual.

AcuSolve is based on the Galerkin Least Squares (GLS) Finite Element Method. GLS handles the pressure velocity coupling, and is also responsible for the stabilization and robustness of the solver.
