"Generate N Grams error [Solved]"

Hi,

I am using generate N grams to extract all the numbers of length 14.

But it is considering Space also as an character and not giving correct output.

Can anyone help me on this.

Please post your current process setup, and specify a bit more precise what you are trying to do. N-Grams are not suitable to find words of length 14 (if that is what you want to do). Please read this post on how to post proper questions: http://rapid-i.com/rapidforum/index.php/topic,4654.0.html

Ok, now the only thing I don't understand is the word "alphanumeric number". Can you please post an example for that? May post a comment and tell me which part you are interested in.

Do you want something like this? This process extracts a 14-character alphanumeric string consisting of uppercase letters and numbers from a document and stores it as the "serial" attribute.

If I want to put this alphanumeric code back to excel file in a new column (in same row of comment) then which operator I need to use?

You can assign IDs to the examples, then after Process Documents filter only the interesting attributes (serial), then join this attribute back to the original dataset. Then remove the ID again, and at the end use Write Excel to write the data back into an excel file.
