"R Extension - Updates"

I've installed the R-Extension and it works great.

Every time I start RM5 with R-Extension, Initializing Plugin GUI takes a long time and I think It's because the internet conection.

I would like NOT to choose a "CRAN mirror" when starting RM5 so R won't update. Is this possible?
