Hi Community

I'm designing a patch antenna and I want to know how to apply boundary conditions to measurements.

Example: 25 < width < 31 and 34 < length < 40. Find the exact measurements for 1,8GHz frequency.

How can I do this in FEKO?

Please give some more details, your question is not clear.

I have an antenna patch with 34mm wide and  40mm long. This antenna operates with a frequency of 1,73 GHz, I want to optimize your measurements(width and length) to operate at 1,8 GHz.

I need to vary the measurements (32mm < width < 36mm , 38mm < length < 42mm) to get the desired frequency through simulation in Feko. I need to apply these boundary conditions to find the exact width and lenght.

How can i do this simulation in Feko?

You need to define an optimisation request.

Have a look at Project 6 of the Getting Started examples that shows to set this up.

You must create your patch to use variables for the width and length. This will be the optimisation parameters.

The optimisation goal will be an impedance goal that uses the input reflection coefficient of the Voltage Source.
